What the Bible Said on Bastille Day

July 14th.

Psalm 128.  Blessings for trusting and obeying the Lord.  You have to read His Word to know His Way for you.  “May you live to see your children’s children.”  I have, for one of my 3 children, and it is such joy.   Blessing upon blessing to see my grandbabies.

Psalm 129.

Psalm 130.  Have you ever been this low?  The Lord knows if you were.  He was there with you – whether you know it or not.  He will never leave you if you have a relationship with Him through Jesus.  “Out of the depths I cry to You, O Lord; O Lord, hear my voice.  Let Your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.”  The Lord , the one and only, true, living God as revealed to the Christians and Jews will be with you in whatever depth, darkness, despair, hardship, trial, tribulation, pain, suffering, humiliation, anguish, shame, attack, persecution, punishment, abuse, illness, fear, panic, anxiety, addiction, grief, loss, loneliness, rejection, and on and on you live.

Psalm 132.  The Lord choses Jerusalem.

Psalm 134.  Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord.   Do it.

Pslam 135.  Praise the Lord.  The Lord is great.
