What the Bible Said

July 10th

Psalm 107:  Give thanks to the Lord.  His love endures forever.  Christians can feel lonely, but they are never alone.  Never.   God physically lives in our body and comforts us – and is in fellowship with us – no matter who we are or what we have done (except to deny Him).

Psalm 111:  I will extol the Lord with all my heart.  The fear (respect) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  Absolutely.  No one can be wise without knowing the one, true, only, living God.   They can know a lot about life, but lack true wisdom.

Psalm 112.  How blessed is man who fears (respects) the Lord and finds great delight in His commandments.  Good things can happen.  Good things will happen – compared to what would be without God.  The tough times are better.

Psalm 113.  Praise the Lord.  The Lord is exalted over all the nations.  He raises the poor.  Settles the barren woman as a happy mother.  What pretend god claims the same?  Praise the Lord.

Psalm 114.  Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord.
